“Surreal Arabesque” is based on the concept of “arabesque”, which means opposing the extravagance of the imaginary to the perfection of the “Beautiful ideal” or, more generally, with all fresh views that fall outside the ordinary.
Surreal and ironic elements: clouds in front of normal self-portraits, multiple hands hugging trees to the ends of the branches, a cat in a ceramic teapot, a woman blissfully lying in a can of tuna.
In these images rationality is withdrawn, logic turns into itself and the mind becomes blurred.
